The new formulations of Purina® Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® essentialcare® Indoor Formula for Adult Cats, Purina® Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® essentialcare® Large Breed Puppy, Purina® Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® essentialcare® Senior 7+ Formula for Dogs, and Purina® Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® essentialcare® Senior 7+ Formula for Cats are already available.

The next new formulations you will see are Purina® Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® essentialcare® Adult Formula for Dogs and Purina® Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® essentialcare® Small Breed Adult Formula for Small Dogs.

In ADDITION to the previous claims, Purina® Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® essentialcare® Adult Formula for Dogs will have:

• Urinary Health: Promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the development of both sterile struvite crystals* and calcium oxalate crystals

*Most struvite crystals in dogs are caused by urinary tract infections. In the case of non-sterile struvite crystals, it is important to treat with appropriate antibiotic in addition to dietary management.
